DNS is a treatment and assessment methodology that is based on proper function and activation of the neuromuscular system. Since proper activation muscular activation is a key cornerstone to childhood development, the concepts of DNS are based on the developmental kinesiology of the child.
Dr. Daher was one of the first fully certified DNS practitioners in Canada, recieving this designation from the Prague School of Rehabilitation, Czech Republic. Dr. Daher's experience and expertise in clinical biomechanics, functional movement and athletics was the perfect synergy for the DNS methodology.
Although, the Advanced Wellness Centre has a variety of tools and techniques that are used with each patient to ensure the greatest success in outcome; the premise of therapy at the AWC is based on the working of DNS.
