A Message from Dr. Stanesic
Hello,my name is Dr. Mike Stanesic, a Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.) that was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. I completed both my Undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Biochemistry at the University of Windsor, followed by completed my4-year degree in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
I am trained to be a Primary Care Physician, very similar to a Family Medicine M.D. However, rather than treat symptoms with pharmaceutical medications, I aim to treat the root cause of disease using one of a variety of treatment modalities, such as: botanical/herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine(including Acupuncture), Homeopathic Medicine, supplementation, and lifestyle modification. In addition to treating health concerns that a patient of any age may come in with, my goal is to optimize the five main pillars that make up the foundation of health. These pillars are: good nutrition, regular exercise,stress management, quality and quantity of sleep, and positive social connections. Aside from diagnosing and treating common health conditions, my particular interests are: cancer, fertility, and cognitive health (ie: dementia or autism).
I offer FREE 15 minute discovery appointments that can be done in-person or over the phone. During discovery, I will give you a better idea of what a Naturopathic Doctor is, and the services/treatments that I offer. You may share what some of your concern(s) are, and then I can give you a better idea of what I have to offer you.
